Iglesias Comunidad de Amor, Internacional (Mission Honduras) is a 501(c)(3)non-profit Christian organization that was born in the city of Choluteca, Honduras in the year 2001. 

The mission is involved in 5 Departmentos (States) of Honduras. We have grown to 23 churches and have 3 regional supervisors in three different areas of the country.  The missionary team, is led by Dr. Hector Newman, and his wife Nubia, and is assisted by Enrique Newman. Together they serve as the bridge between the United States and Honduras.  The Lord continues to bless this ministry in a marvelous way. Every year many mission team groups come from the United States, to help build for the Lord’s Kingdom.

Honduras has much to offer, including: years of history, beautiful beaches, breathtaking views, unique culture, and valuable exports, so while experiencing what this nation has to offer we are bringing the one thing it needs most of all...Jesus Christ!  The Honduran people have been enthusiastic and welcome the efforts to bring the message of our Lord Jesus into their lives.  So as a result, the demand for more churches and Christian education has inevitably increased.  Like in many other ways, God has met His people's needs once again!  This is why we have been called to the nation of Honduras.
