Where: Teupasenti, El Paraiso, Honduras
Our ministry began to serve in the region of Teupasenti in 2001. We currently have a congregation with its own building and land. The purpose of this mission trip is to provide medical assistance to the local and nearby communities. Teupasenti is located about 45 minutes from the city of Danli in El Paraiso. The community where we will be serving is on the side of the hill surrounded by 38 villages and 299 small communities. The main source of income for the inhabitants of the municipality of Teupasenti comes from agriculture. The most common crops grown include: basic grains, coffee, sugar cane and vegetables. They are also known there for breeding cattle, horses, pigs, goats and poultry.
