For many years, we've been working in partnership with Compassion International. Recently, we were able to provide medical assistance to 306 poor children and youth. We also provided basic food items for them and their families.
A few weeks ago, I wrote to you about our church in Colonia Emanuel. This church building was destroyed by Hurricane Eta and Lota. We've already started building the foundation which will now feature a higher foundation off the ground. Jeremy is a little boy who loved going to this church but has been unable to because it was flooded for 3 weeks and needed to be demolished for safety reasons. We hope to finish “Jeremy's Church" by the end of November so that he and his friends can celebrate and have a blessed Christmas. We are very excited and thankful to the three families who responded to our call. To date, we have received $3,000 for that project of the $24,000 needed. Another project we hope to finish soon is the fencing on the front side of El Arca Camp. We are very thankful that during these past weeks we received a donation of $2,300 for that purpose. With that donation we were able to finish 60 more meters of fence. We know that our Lord is going to provide for the remaining 100 meters. This can only be possible with your help and contributions. Please send your donation to: Mission Honduras, c/o Ray Riddle , 41 Fairview St, Hingham, MA. 02043 We are thankful for you and for all the work being completed because of the donations. PRAISES: 1.
