Do you remember Catalino? Catalino Cortes is one of our pastors in the city of Danli and lives in the barrio of Los Robles. Catalino works a full time job as the water system manager for his barrio. He is also a very good plumber and a beloved pastor in his community. Two months ago, he fell very ill with something that he and his wife thought was a simple cough. He went to the hospital for a medical examination and tested positive for COVID. The emergency staff sent him home because there was no space for him. The hospital was already full with other people infected with COVID. They gave him some treatment for his lungs, which were collapsing, but they didn't have money to purchase more because it was very expensive.
He was the first to get COVID in his barrio, and the first pastor to be infected with COVID in the city of Danli. In our previous update we asked you to pray and help him with funds. Many of you responded immediately. Our churches here and the Danli Pastor's Association also responded to his physical, financial, and spiritual needs. While quarantined from his church, his wife Mirian, small daughter Kleimer Lizeth, and the church leaders took care of the church. After more than a month at home suffering from COVID the Lord heard our prayers and today he is in the process of a full recovery. He is back at his church and also at his job. Praise the Lord!. Thank you so much for responding and supporting Pastor Catalino and others that have been ill too. Today he is doing the Lord’s work with his family. PRAISES:
