El Arca Fence is now Completed!

It has been my desire for a long time to see the two blocks of fencing from the front of El Arca Camp completed. I knew it was going to be very expensive, but a true necessity for our camp. The wire fence that was there previously was adjacent to the Pan-American Highway where many people transit. Earlier this month the last amount needed to finished it was received. We are very thankful with the Lord and with Judy Margetts for this great contribution to our place and ministry.

COVID is still going strong and has affected many of our pastors. Pastor Roberto Cortez, of Dos Caminos, Villanueva and his whole family currently are battling this disease. They are in the process of recovery; nevertheless, he is in bad shape. Please keep them in prayer.

This month, my wife, Sonia, and her friend, Carla Valladares, started a sewing academy. Ten people, mostly young, registered for classes and are now learning how to sew. We are very excited because we get to use the sewing machines that were donated by some of you. The purpose of the sewing academy is to teach new skills to people so they can make and sell products and create a new stream of income to financially help themselves in these hard days. Unemployment in Honduras is about 55% to 60%.
