Evaluation Time

Friends, we took the month of June to evaluate our whole ministry. Our national board and our supervisors got together to work on the evaluation report.  Below is a summarized portion of our ministries evaluation:

1.  Since 2001, when we started our ministry of Iglesias Comunidad de Amor, Internacional, in the city of Choluteca, the Lord has blessed and guided us to many communities and Departamentos    (states) in three zones of Honduras. We have started more than two dozen churches. Almost every church has their own building. Today, many lives has been saved and changed because of this work.
2. We have been serving over 265 poor children every week in the city of Danli, with a hot lunch, Christian education, health care, school support and sports programs. This program is in partnership with Compassion international.
3. This year we have 70 students enrolled at the Newman School.  We help 60% of the students with scholarships provided by our partner friends in the USA.  We have multiple successful stories of students graduating from 6th grade and continuing on to high school. We are very grateful to so many of you who have and are supporting many of them with your funds.
4. Pastors' children have been helped with with scholarships to attend school. Many people like you have extended your generosity by providing these children your support.
5. Our ministry has created a fund to provide scholarships for those men willing to serve the Lord as pastors and sending them to Bible school. All our pastors are bi-vocational, working in many areas like construction, small businesses and farming.
6. The Lord provided to us with 33 acres of Land, donated by a family from the Boston area. It's in a very strategic place that we call El Arca Comprehensive Center, located, in Agua Blanca, Potrerillos, El Paraiso. Starting in 2019 we plan to develop this land with a conference center for our churches,  a camp with dorms for retreats and a training hub for for the youth.  

This coming January of 2019, we are going to be hosting mission teams that are coming exclusively to help build the dormitories and kitchen.

1. Right now, we have three new places where we are starting new churches.
2. We are also building a church for the Lenca Indians in Rio Blanco, Intibuca.
3. We continue to help people with health needs by bringing medical brigades to the poorest communities around our country.

We are looking forward to continuing to reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the country of Honduras.  We are very thankful with our Lord, and with you, for supporting us with your prayers, funds and your coming to exercise the Lord's Vision for the World.
